La Bretagna ad agosto si trasforma nella “rotta del rock”.
Il festival estivo francese più importante, La Route du rock, quest’anno si svolgerà dal 10 al 12 agosto.
La cornice è tra le più belle d’Europa: le mura della città marittima di Saint Malo, sulla costa smeralda bretone.
Di giorno ci si esibisce su una splendida spiaggia che guarda a ovest, di notte nel castello storico della città. La Route du
Rock mescola esibizioni eccellenti a paesaggi e situazioni uniche.
In passato hanno partecipato al festival band del calibro dei Sonic Youth, Portishead, PJ Harvey, Sigur Ros, The Cure,
Massive Attack, Foals, The Black Angels, Mogwai, Tv on the radio, solo per citarne alcune.
La ventiduesima edizione sarà caratterizzata dalle sonorità di trenta band dalla fama internazionale, con una line-up
invidiabile:
The XX, Squarepusher, The Soft Moon, Chromatics, Cloud Nothings, Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks, Breton, Mazzy
Star, Hanni el Khatib, Civil Civic e tanti altri.
Le premesse sono tra le migliori. Non resta che mettersi in cammino.
